Isaacson & Arfman, Inc. was established in 1980. The principals of the firm, Fred Arfman and Åsa Nilsson-Weber, along with a seasoned engineering, technical, and administrative staff have worked on more than 2,500 civil engineering projects over the past 40+ years. The firm currently works with local & out-of-state architects, planners, and developers. The firm is experienced in public and private developments for master planning, grading & drainage, paving, and utility design work for sites of all sizes.

Isaacson & Arfman has a strong background in commercial and educational development projects of all sizes including retail/office buildings, self-storage facilities, banks, shopping centers, medical facilities, churches, and school campuses (university, primary, secondary, public, and private) and parks.
Residential Projects
Isaacson & Arfman has a considerable background in residential subdivision design ranging from a 2-lot subdivision to subdivisions in the 300-lot magnitude. In addition, the firm has worked on many apartment, townhome, and condominium developments as well as local retirement facilities.
Public Improvements
Isaacson & Arfman has designed public road, water, sewer, and storm drain projects throughout New Mexico with the majority occurring within Bernalillo County / City of Albuquerque.
